Rev’d Mark Rowland

Minister and Team Leader

Rev'd Mark Rowland at Central Hall - Church in the heart of CoventryMark came to Central Hall in 2014 and takes a lead in the whole life of the church, from worship and outreach to the nuts and bolts of keeping everything running. Originally from Aberystwyth, Mark is proud of his Welsh roots. He trained for ordained ministry at the Urban Theology Unit in Sheffield, at Candler School of Theology, Atlanta, GA and at Wesley House, Cambridge. Mark is passionate about worship which draws us into the presence of God and connects with life today, enabling the church to make a positive impact on society and on people’s lives. Mark loves to sing and plays the piano and organ. Mark’s partner, Sam, is also a Methodist minister and he works at the Queen’s Foundation, Birmingham.

 

Noah Mitchell

Evangelism and Discipleship Leader

Picture1Originally from Florida, Noah came to Central Hall in September 2017, having served in local churches in the UK for over 10 years. Working mainly with children, young people and families, Noah has always been passionate about church mission and strategy – helping the church to think outwardly and inviting people (those inside and outside the church) to journey deeper into faith.

When he’s not at church, Noah enjoys reading, walking, the odd trip to the cinema and exploring near and far with his wife Kate and their two young children, Asher and Iriana.

 

Lauren Malone

Children and Families Leader

Lauren Malone - Children and Families LeaderLauren came to Central Hall and became the Children & Families Leader in 2016 after graduating from a youth ministry and theology degree at St Mellitus Theological Collage. She is originally from London and has been working with young people in a voluntary capacity since 2011 having developed a passion for seeing children and young people come into a deeper relationship with God. In her spare time Lauren enjoys watching and participating in improvised comedy, she also has the ability to quote almost any Disney film word for word.

Marcus Patterson

Worship and Band Leader

marcusMarcus started at Central Hall in November 2016 after finishing Sixth Form and is responsible for the direction of Music, particularly in the Breath of life service. He encourages anyone to be involved in music, and if you are interested in being part of the music team then please talk to him. In his spare time, alongside listening to music and socialising with friends, he enjoys reading and discussing theology and philosophy. Above all, his passion lies in playing the French Horn and hopes to one day make a career out of playing horn.

Amanda Bicknell

Minister’s P.A. and Ministry Support

Amanda Bicknell - Minister's P.A. and Ministry SupportAmanda has been working at Central Hall for over 10 years starting life as Business Administrator before becoming the Minister’s P.A. in 2010. The title “PA” doesn’t quite do justice to the role which has evolved into a wonderfully creative job in which Amanda gets to use her artistic talents. From massive rocks at Easter to giant crisp packets, no request has beaten her yet! Away from the hall Amanda is married to Guy and together they are raising their beautiful son Teddy and cats Monty and Dexter. She enjoys socialising with her mummy friends, looking after her garden and tackling the diy and decorating in the family home.
